Natural Aromatics was Established in 2003 with the main aim to distill essential oils. The promoters having strong ties with overseas buyers of sandalwood oil and essential oils were able to put up a most modern distillation plant backed by 45 members staff of technicians, skilled labour involved in business of sandalwood for the last 20 years The plant was put up in heart of Tanzania in Dar Es Salaam in 2003. Realising that the cost of Indian Sandalwood (spieces Santalum Album ) going exponentially high with the avilablity becoming scarce the idea to distill low cost East African Sandalwood Oil was found to be very feasible, thus the the main production of East African Sandalwood oil started in 2004.Having received tremendous response the promoters also ventured and introduced sandalwood pieces to the Saudi Arabian markets where it found its immediate acceptance due to the quality and cheap price. Natural Aromatics did not stop here and we ventured out to source sandalwood from all over the world and distill the same at the most modern distillation plant at Dar Es Salaam Tanzania. |
